In general, you cannot trademark a individual’s name alone, as personal names are considered to be descriptive or generic terms. Trademarks are typically used to protect distinctive names, logos, slogans, or other symbols associated with goods or services in commerce.

However, there are some exceptions to this rule. If a person's name has acquired distinctiveness and is being used in connection with goods or services in a way that creates a unique brand identity, it may be possible to obtain a trademark registration. For example, if a well-known celebrity's name is used as a brand for a specific line of products or services, they may be able to trademark it.
