Generally, if we also count in the grace period, you can apply for trademark renewal from six months before the expiration date up to six months after expiration. Some jurisdictions, such as the USA, Australia or New Zealand, allow applying as soon as twelve months before expiration.
However, even if most IP offices allow renewal after expiration, applying as soon as possible would be advisable. Requesting renewal during the grace period may incur additional costs (government fees and sometimes also agent fees). It may also be more complicated - for example, in the UK, if you miss the deadline, you can only apply via post. In worst-case scenarios, you may find that you are no longer permitted to renew your trademark in a specific jurisdiction or class.
