The ™ symbol, which appears as a superscript "TM", is used to indicate that a particular word, phrase, logo, or symbol is being used as a trademark. It signifies that the owner of the mark is claiming exclusive rights to use it in connection with the goods or services they are offering.

However, the symbol does not indicate that the trademark has been registered with the relevant government authorities. Typically, business owners will use the symbol to indicate they are in the process of obtaining official registration.
